Featured vineyards and wineries

Saintsbury

Saintsbury is a hidden gem within the Napa-Carneros region. You will be invited to sit in the English garden overlooking a portion of the estate vineyard. From here Saintsbury will take you through a personalized tasting of six wines ranging from their Estate Carneros Chardonnay to Vineyard Series Pinot Noirs. Saintsbury is a small intimate winery and with an “open kitchen” layout allowing you to see the day-to-day operations of the winery.

Acacia

On a hilltop two miles from San Pablo Bay, Acacia Vineyard sits in the heart of Napa Valley’s Carneros appellation, with views encompassing the entire San Francisco Bay Area. We invite you to discover this unspoiled spot just a little bit off the beaten track. Here you will tour the winery and learn about their winemaker, Matthew Glynn, and his winemaking style. We will discuss both the Carneros AVA and Acacia vineyard’s unique 32 year history.

Opus One

An overview of Opus One's history, aesthetics, vineyards and winemaking will be covered on this personal Estate Tour. This visit progresses through both the public and production spaces of the winery and concludes with a tasting of the current vintage.

Buena Vista

When the forest and vine collide great things happen. Oak barrels have been used as a tool in winemaking for centuries, beginning at first as a versatile vessel and now as a flavour enhancer. Tasting wine straight from the barrel while it mellows into something delicious is something generally reserved for VIPs at wineries. However here you will have the chance to experience this while touring the recently renovated, historical caves. You will then taste wines from the barrel and also enjoy finished wines to witness the wines evolution from the barrel to the bottle.

Valley of the Moon

Valley of the Moon Winery has been in operation longer than any other winery in the Glen Ellen area. As one of California's first wineries, the Madrone Vineyards at Valley of the Moon carries forward an illustrious tradition in winemaking since 1863. The estate vineyards are some of the region's oldest Zinfandel vineyards, which date back to the 1930s. Nowadays Valley of the Moon Winery is experiencing a renaissance. The history and old walls remain, but the technology and styling is resolutely modern. This harmonious marriage of past and present provides the perfect environment to taste world-class wines.

Ferrari-Carrano

Visit the beautiful home of Ferrari-Carano wines, the spectacular Italianate hospitality wine center, Villa Fiore, set in the midst of a 70-acre Dry Creek Valley estate vineyard. Here you will taste the critically-acclaimed Ferrari-Carano wines, stroll through five acres of exquisite gardens, view the magnificent underground, double-vaulted barrel cellar, and sample limited and reserve wines.
